In October of 2021, WAC received very generous funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), via their local delivery partner, Community Led Local Development (CLLD), to investigate ways of securing WAC's future in uncertain times. The subsequently generated Community Small Grants report found that a new, eco-friendly community building that meets Cornwall Council's 2030 carbon-neutral targets, is the best way forward to secure our community hub's future.

With the help of CLLD, we have now secured funding for a new community building through the ERDF, match-funded by Cornwall Council, who have gone above and beyond to ensure that we have everything we need to get this project off the ground.

Work is already well underway, and we hope to move back to the heart of Treneere in 2023

The new building shall be known as Treneere Community Hub (TCH)
